So much stupid in everything you said. You can't load test a dead battery, & you can't do a 12V load test on a battery that only has 11V... which should be obvious as to why. 2nd... Go grab a 1yr, 2yr, & 3yr warranty battery of the same brand & group size, & put them on a scale. Notice how they get progressively heavier as the warranty increases. This is because the more expensive batteries have thicker lead plates, than the cheaper batteries. The lead plates corrode away through each charge cycle, so the thicker the lead plates, the longer the battery will last. Using less lead is how manufacturers sell batteries cheaper, as lead is the most expensive element of the battery... but this comes at the cost of durability, hence the shorter warranties. Typically, batteries last twice the length of their warranty. If your 3yr warranty battery is crapping out at 3 years, then you either have a parasitic draw that is continuously draining the battery, or a faulty alternator... of which both conditions will cause permanent sulfication of the lead plates, that will reduce the battery's capacity, or create a short, or both.

I've been using deep cycle marine batteries in my vehicles for years they're always cheaper they work just as well . It's been my experience with purchasing just about anything that the cheapest one and the most expensive one don't have very much difference at all .

If you have a line to the propery owner, you might find out there are storage fees on it, and use that as a lever to have it signed over to you.
